Directions to Barton House:

From the North - Directions from Junction 25 (M5): 

Head towards Taunton and follow the signs for Minehead and Bishops Lydeard (A358). At the Cross Keys Pub round-about (about 4 miles from M5) take the first exit onto the B3227 signposted for Norton Fitzwarren and Wiveliscombe. At approx 3 miles from Norton (and still on the B3227) you will come to Hillcommon (small roadside sign). Approx 200 metres past this sign you need to take the first left, signposted with brown tourist signs to Oake Manor Golf Club and Sheppey's Cider Museum. Barton House is the magnolia painted cottage on the roadside approx 100 metres from the turning.

From the East

Follow A303 and A358 to Junction 25 (M5) and then follow above.

From the South - Directions from Junction 26 (M5): 

Head towards Wellington and take the 4th exit at the first roundabout after leaving the Motorway which is the A38 to Taunton.

With a lorry/horsebox:

Take the A38 through Rumwell and turn left at the first major roundabout along Silk Mills Lane. At the end of Silk Mills Lane turn left at mini roundabout. Cross Keys roundabout is 50 metres in front of you, and then follow directions from Cross Keys roundabout as above.

By Car:

Take A38 to Taunton and at Worlds End Hotel (on your right) turn left to Bradford on Tone and Oake (you will also see Oake Manor Golf Club's brown tourist sign). Go through Oake village and after last mini-roundabout Barton House is magnolia painted cottage on your right. If you go to 'T' junction you have gone too far.
