Tilbury tugs

Quick release tugs facilitate easier putting to and harness removal, both as an everyday convenience or in the event of an accident. Very useful for marathon vehicles with loop end shafts.

Tilbury tugs are the traditional tugs for four wheeled vehicles. They work by holding the shaft more firmly and enable the backband tightness to be increased more than on a standard backband. The traces should lie outside the backband when using Tilbury tugs.
